October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month


Good News...Governor Granholm has passed a Proclamation in Michigan ~ the first week of October is dedicated to Inflammatory Breast Cancer! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so it naturally fits. What doesn't fit is Inflammatory Breast Cancer or IBC. This disease is nasty! Please watch for changes in your breasts and INSIST on a biopsy...IBC doesn't show up on a mammogram or ultrasound...be persistent!
